Oriyomi Hamzat, is currently receiving medical care after a deeply traumatic experience at a Christmas party in Ibadan.
The event, organized by Queen Naomi Silekunola Ogunwusi, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, was meant to bring joy to children during the festive season. However, tragedy struck when a stampede occurred, leading to the heartbreaking loss of at least 35 young lives and leaving six others critically injured.

Mr. Hamzat, a witness to the tragic incident that unfolded at a recent event in Oyo State, was reportedly overwhelmed by the devastating scenes. The Oyo State government has since confirmed the heartbreaking incident, while law enforcement officials have arrested Queen Naomi Silekunola and seven others in connection with organizing the ill-fated event. Close associates of Mr. Hamzat revealed that he remains deeply shaken by the horrific scenes he witnessed. "He was there when the stampede began. Watching children collapse was too much for him to bear," a source told Sahara Reporters.
