Segalink was made popular after he championed the #EndSars movement both online and offline protest.
Segun Awosanya, who is popularly known as Segalink on twitter, is the CEO of AliensMedia, which he co founded in 2002.
Mr Segun was recently highlighted on CNN following his actions towards the EndSars movement that led to acting president Yemi Osibajo to end the operations of the police unit. Following Seguns triumphant song been sang sang Nigerians, popular betting site CEO, Akin Alabi of Nairabet has think otherwise and he believes Segalink's actions were political. In he reply to a tweet by Mr Jags on twitter he wrote " Personally, I don’t have any problem with anyone celebrating his candidate. My problem is when people hide behind human rights activism when actually it’s all political. I don’t like deceit. Be straight. "
It was believed that SegaLink had show support for Goodluck Jonathan during his regime in 2015, which could directly mean Sega is a supporter of PDP. Hence, Alabi believe the #EndSars movement could be a political propaganda.
Twitter users took the allegation as a way of discrediting Sega's action towards the EndSars movement, and they fired at Akin Alabi for his insensitivity
