Few days after the unprecedented victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 23 General election, the Party's National Working Committee, NWC, has today Friday 1st of March suspended the Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha and Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
Reports also have it that both politicians have also be recommended for expulsion from the party. This development was announced on Friday afternoon in Abuja after an NWC meeting.
It is instructive to note that both Okorocha and Amosun won senatorial seats in last Saturday's National assembly elections.
The suspension is coming shortly after both governors were accused of 'Anti-Party' activities following their support for Gubernatorial candidates from different parties.
It should be recalled that Okorocha his supporting his son in law on another party while Amosun is supporting the candidate of APM in Ogun state.
