Gombe Governor Makes Presidential Ambition known
The executive Governor of Gombe state, Hassan Dankwambo on Saturday made his presidential ambition for the next year general election known publicly at the consultation meeting with the officials of the People Democratic Party (PDP) from the North East region in the country.
He is of the view that, the recent game of defection in the country where prominent members of the ruling party are defecting to PDP vindicates that PDP has been reformed and well structured to fully take the country to a greater height from the present state of quagmire the ruling APC has placed the country in her last 3 years. The Governor also urge all the existing members of the party to joyously welcome the new members.
As Dankkwanbo declares his ambition yesterday, he is expected to compete for PDP presidential ticket at the primary election with the likes of Atiku Abubakar, Ahmed Makarfi and others that are yet to declare publicly.
