Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has shared insights into his plans after hanging up his boots.
Contrary to expectations, the Portuguese icon has ruled out becoming a football coach or manager. Instead, Ronaldo hinted at venturing into the business side of football by owning a club.
“Becoming a head coach or manager? No… but maybe I could become a club owner,” Ronaldo revealed during a pre-interview session at the annual Globe Soccer Academy Awards held today.
In addition to his retirement plans, Ronaldo also voiced his opinion on the 2024 Ballon d’Or results. He expressed his belief that Vinícius Júnior deserved the prestigious award over the announced winner, Rodri.
