Umar Sadiq continued his impressive form, scoring for the second straight game to propel Valencia to a thrilling 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid at the Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday night.
Diego López put Valencia ahead early, finding the back of the net just seven minutes into the match. However, Real Valladolid responded before halftime, with Juanmi Latasa leveling the score five minutes before the break.
Sadiq stepped up as the hero, netting the decisive goal in the 58th minute to seal all three points for Los Che. The Nigerian forward played the full 90 minutes in what was a fiercely contested encounter.
The 28-year-old has now bagged five goals in just seven league appearances for Valencia since joining on loan from Real Sociedad in January.
Sadiq’s red-hot form continues to be a major boost for Los Che as they push for a strong finish this season.
