The manager of Almeria, Joan Francesc Rubi, has announced that he will start forward Umar Sadiq against LaLiga champions Real Madrid on Sunday.
This summer, Sadiq is anticipated to leave the Rojiblancos, with Villarreal the favorite to sign him.
According to rumors, The Yellow Submarine and Almeria are negotiating the terms of the transfer.
Sadiq's future at the club may be uncertain, but Rubi has stated that the Nigerian international will play in their season opener against Carlo Ancelloti's team.
If Sadiq doesn't trip and fall tomorrow, he'll be one of the eleven on Sunday. I'll stop there, Rubi said at a press conference.
The 25-year-old has 81 league appearances for Almeria and 41 goals to his name.
