Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has refused to blame Bukayo Saka for their 2-2 draw against West Ham on Sunday.

The Gunners raced into a two-goal lead thanks to Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard.

However, Saidi Benhrama pulled one back from the penalty spot.

Saka put his spot kick wide before Jarred Bowen equalized for the hosts after the break.

Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports, said: “A player who takes penalties misses penalties; I don’t know anyone who hasn’t.”
On whether the title race pressure has gone up a few notches, he said: “It’s the same; I don’t know how many notches there were a few months ago. We can’t control it.
