La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have joined the list of clubs interested in Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Osayi-Samuel is seeking to leave Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce next month after losing his place in the team.

Serie A outfit, Napoli are reportedly leading the race to sign the player, with clubs in the Premier League also interested.

According to Turkish news outlet Fotomac, Atletico Madrid are interested in bringing Osayi Samuel to Spain.

The versatile defender moved to Fenerbahce from Sky Bet Championship club, Queens Park Rangers last January.

The 24-year-old has made 60 league appearances for the Yellow Canaries, with two goals to his name.
