Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Civitas and the company will now become the club’s main sponsor. This means Atleti’s home will now be named the Civitas Metropolitano.

Civitas Metropolitano. That will be the new name of Atletico Madrid’s stadium from the start of the upcoming season. This was recently announced by Enrique Cerezo during the Civitas launch event.

The company, dedicated to making “sustainable and smart urban mobility a reality for all in Europe and beyond”, will be the new sustainability sponsor of the club from the Spanish capital.

Therefore, the name of their stadium as it has been since ‘Los Rojiblancos’ made their move to it from the Vicente Calderon in 2017, the ‘Wanda Metropolitano’, will be no more.
