It is no longer news that the former Liverpool playmaker; Coutinho has permanently joined Aston Villa.



The Brazillian first joined the club on loan in January and has impressed in the Premier League following his arrival.

Aston Villa did not disclose the fee paid to Barcelona to keep Coutinho long-term, but Barcelona in a statement said they had received €20 million ($21m/£17m).

It will be noted that Barcelona bought Coutinho from Liverpool for over €145 in 2018, and he has been performing woefully for the Catalina Club.

Coutinho scored twice against Barca in their 8-2 humiliation by Bayern Munich, he was on loan then.

He has officially joined Stephen Gerrad Aston Villa.
