Granit Xhaka, a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen, praised Victor Boniface, another member of his team.
This summer, the pair teamed up with Die Werkself from Arsenal and Union St. Gilloise.
In his first three league games for Xabi Alonso's team at the BayArena, Boniface has scored four goals and provided one assist.
Bundesliga leaders Leverkusen are currently ahead of league champion Bayern Munich in the standings.
Xhaka emphasized Boniface's significance to the group.
”Boniface is a down-to-earth boy who is hungry for goals and successes,” he told Bild Sports.
“It’s only good for the team if you have someone up front who wants to score goals and celebrate success.
“That’s how you get better, how you make the team better, and how you make yourself better. We’re glad we have someone like that with us.”
Boniface is currently on international duty with Nigeria.
Bayer Leverkusen will take on Bayern Munich in their next league game.
