Chelsea will begin the 2022/23 season under new ownership, following a season that no one could have predicted coming off the field.
Todd Boehly takes over a club that qualified for the Champions League by finishing third last season, and head coach Thomas Tuchel will no doubt be hoping for a Premier League challenge.
Despite the instability surrounding the club's ownership, Chelsea came agonizingly close to winning the Carabao Cup and FA Cup in recent seasons, losing on penalties in both tournaments to Liverpool.
Chelsea's 2022/23 fixtures were revealed at 9 a.m. BST on Thursday, June 16. (4 a.m. ET). There will be two FIFA international breaks: Sept. 19-27, 2022; and March 20-28, 2023; in addition to the nearly month-long break for the FIFA World Cup (Nov. 14-Dec. 18).
Before the FIFA World Cup, 16 Premier League matchdays will be played, with the remaining 22 following the World Cup.
