Jorginho and Kante are set against time to be fit for Chelsea’s Premier League trip to Leeds on Wednesday.
Both players sat out the draw against Wolves with knocks and manager Thomas Tuchel confirmed ahead of the game that it will be nip and tuck as to whether either player makes the squad.
“We are fighting for Jorgi and we're fighting for N’Golo for tomorrow, but it will be close and I don't know if [they will] make it,” he told reporters on Tuesday.
Tuchel could choose to drop Marcos Alonso after a row with the left-back at half-time of the weekend game. The German has since assured that the argument between himself and his player has been resolved.
