Christian Pulisic has insisted that he is prepared to "prove himself" under the leadership of Graham Potter, the new Chelsea manager.
Under Thomas Tuchel, Pulisic struggled and criticized the German for not giving him the chance he required.
The US international says he is now "excited" to compete for a spot in the Chelsea XI. He was pleased with Potter's appointment.
Sincerely, I'm feeling good about returning, Pulisic said to ESPN.
I've got a new beginning, and I'm eager to play for the new manager. So I’m really just looking forward to it.
“I just have to prove myself, as everyone does, and as I’ve done before.”
Graham Potter will be in charge of his second game as Chelsea boss and first Premier League game when the Blues tackle Crystal Palace on Saturday.
