Kabiru Dogo has resigned from his position as head coach of Nigeria Premier Football League club Wikki Tourists.

Dogo, Naijacrawl learned, tendered his resignation letter to the management of the Bauchi Elephants on Tuesday afternoon.

He cited interference and a lack of support from the club’s hierarchy as his main reasons for quitting the post.

The gaffer came under severe criticism following Wikki Tourists’ poor start to the 2022–23 season.

The Bauchi-based club currently occupies the last position on the Group B table with just one point from four games.

Wikki Tourists were held to a 0-0 draw by Doma United in Dogo’s last game in charge of the club.

He guided the Wikki Tourists to a 10th-place finish in the NPFL last season.
