Kabiru Dogo remains positive that he can help turn things around at Kwara United despite the 0-0 draw against Remo Stars on Wednesday.
Dogo, who was recently appointed head coach of Kwara United, took charge of the team in a Nigeria Premier Football League game for the first time against the Sky Blue Stars.
The Harmony Warriors remain rooted to the bottom half of the table after the stalemate with the Remo Stars.
Dogo said that with renewed strength, his team can avoid relegation from the NPFL.
“At this stage, we need to build our self-belief." "Having a strong mental strength is important,” Dogo told Naijacrawl.
"We shouldn’t be reflecting much on our goalless draw against Remo Stars, but we should consolidate on the positives from the game."
“This team has what it takes to push up the table.”
Kwara United will travel to El-Kanemi Warriors for their next game on Sunday.
