Former African footballer of the year winner and erstwhile Cameroon captain Samuel Eto'o has been announced by the Qatar Sports club as the club new signing.



This was made known through a tweet from the club twitter account where it is written that the 37 year old Cameroon legend will be officially presented today (Tuesday) during a press conference.

It should be noted that Eto moves to Qater from Konyaspor on a mutual consent basis, and he will be playing with the likes of other football legends like Xavi, Sneijder in the Qatari league.

Eto has a fantastic football career which saw him to be crowned the winner of African Footballer of the year award four times, and had also played for first class clubs in Europe which include Barcelona, Chelsea, Everton.
