A French footballer, by name Jean-pierre Adams has been in coma for over 37 years now and still not yet recovered. This was caused by a mistake his doctor made while putting him to sleep for a surgery to repair his torn ligament.

His wife, Bernadette whom he married in 1969 still stays by his bed side up till today, feeding, bathing and clothing him with the help of few friends, family and the nurses while the husband lay lifeless. 

The sad part of the whole story was that the doctor whom carelessness caused the whole problem, only went to jail for one month with his colleague and was fined 815 dollars and was set free, while leaving the wife and the children in agony of having to face such trauma for a long while.
