The Super Eagles camp in Dallas, Texas, United States of America came alive on Thursday with the arrival of 13 players.



Foreign-based stars: William Troost-Ekong, Moses Simon, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, and Semi Ajayi were the latest arrivals in camp.

The quintet joined the eight players from the Nigeria Professional Football League in camp.

The eight home-based players in camp are: Adewale Adeyinka, Ojo Olorunleke, Shehu Buhari, Christian Madu (Rivers United), Ishaq Rafiu, Rivers United, Victor Mbaoma, Faisal Sanni, and Babatunde Bello.

More players are expected in camp later today.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, has also arrived at the team’s camp, along with his three foreign assistants.

Peseiro will work with Maykel Moreira (fitness coach), Acacio Santos (assistant coach) and Vitor Hugo (analyst).

The Super Eagles will tackle the El Tri of Mexico in their first friendly at the AT & T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday.

The three-time African champions will face Ecuador four days later at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison.
