The 2022 Globe Soccer Awards were announced Thursday evening in Dubai.



Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was named Best Emerging Player of the Year ahead of Barcelona’s Gavi and Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.

The Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, was the Best Coach of the Year.

The Italian received the award for the second time in his career.

AC Milan icons Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara were named Best Sporting Directors for 2022, beating Napoli’s Cristiano Giuntoli.

Executive Career Award: Adriano Galliani (Monza)

Best Sporting Director Of The Year: Maldini and Massara (AC Milan)

Best President Of The Year: Real Madrid’s Florentino Perez (Real Madrid)

Best Coach Of The Year: Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti

Best Women’s Club Of The Year: Lyon

Best Men’s Club Of The Year: Real Madrid

Best Women’s Player Of The Year: Barcelona’s Alexia Putellas

Emerging Player Of The Year: Napoli’s Victor Osimhe

Best Men’s Player Of The Year: Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema

Coach Career Award: Unai Emery (Aston Villa manager)

Best Youth Team Of The Year: Benfica

Transfer of the Year: Erling Haaland to Manchester City

Best Scout Of The Year: Juni Calafat (Real Madrid)

Best Agent Of The Year: Jorge Mendes

TikTok Fans’ Player Of The Year: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Player Career Award: Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romario
