Iker Casillas, a Real Madrid icon, praised Luka Modric's pass for Rodrygo's goal in Real Madrid's 3-2 Champions League quarter-final second leg defeat to Chelsea on Tuesday.
Modric set up Rodrygo with a spectacular pass to make it 3-1 on the night and 4-4 on the season.
Real Madrid eventually won the match 5-4 on aggregate, after winning the first leg 3-1 at Stamford Bridge last week.
After the game, Casillashis reacted by calling Modric's assist a "crazy pass" in a message via his Twitter feed.
"At 1-3, lukamodric10 has the choice of passing to Vinijr," the Spaniard wrote on Twitter. It was the most natural pass and the only one in which he entered the opposing goal alone.
“He puts the outside that we don’t know how to do even in a year and gives him a pass to RodrygoGoes who is a “fucking crazy PASS” of a goal! A-som-bro-so! Genius!”.
Meanwhile, Mason Mount, Antonio Rudiger and Timo Werner scored to give Chelsea a three-goal lead before Rodrygo struck with 10 minutes left.
Karim Benzema then sealed Real Madrid’s passage into the semi-final in extra time.
