Kylian Mbappe scored the game's first goal against Lille in just eight seconds.
He tied Michel Rio for the quickest goal ever in the French league.
The quickest goal ever scored in Ligue 1 was by Kylian Mbappe. The time between Neymar's kickoff and the ball entering the goal was just over eight seconds.
The Brazilian passed the ball to Paredes, who then passed it back to Neymar, who then passed it to Messi, who then found a gap in the defense to pass the ball to Mbappe.
Mbappe, who was all on his own on the edge of the box, hit the first time to scoop the ball over Leo Jardim’s head to make it 0-1.
He was just a few tenths of a second away from having the record for the fastest Ligue 1 goal on his own. His goal means he has the joint fastest goal with Michel Rio, who also scored in eight seconds.
