Thomas Frank, manager of Brentford, has been chosen as Brendan Rodgers' potential successor as manager of Leicester City.

With just one point from its first seven games, Leicester City's new season has gotten off to a terrible start.

On Saturday, Tottenham defeated Brendan Rodgers' team 6-2 in the Premier League, casting further doubt on Rodgers' position as manager of the team.

Additionally, The Telegraph claims that the Foxes "admire" Frank as a potential Rodgers replacement.

However, they are unsure whether the Brentford boss would be open to leaving the club.

Rodgers, who signed a new deal in 2019 which runs until 2025, would be entitled to a £10 million payoff if Leicester decided to sack him.

When asked about his position at Leicester after the loss to Spurs, Rodgers said: "I don’t know, to be honest." Whatever their decision is, I’ll always respect it. "
