Anams Lillian has said she is open to representing Nigeria at the international level.
Lilian helped Sam Nelly FC win the Benin Republic Women’s League last weekend.
The young goalie got huge plaudits for her performance in the competition.
She admitted that it is important for her to keep working hard to get recognized by Nigerian coaches.
“I am not very popular back in Nigeria, and so it will take hard work and good performances to earn a call-up to play for Nigeria,” the former Ibom Angels FC shot-stopper told Sportsration.
“It will always be an honor to represent Nigeria, so surely if the opportunity comes, I will grab it.”
