An Italian journalist, Gianni Visnadi, has warned Manchester United of the dangers of signing Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen.

Visnadi described Osimhen as a "brilliant madman," adding that the Nigerian international is a fantastic player.

Osimhen has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. Visnadi has now warned that Napoli’s reported asking price of €200 million (£178 million) for the striker is "crazy."

“I’m crazy about Osimhen, and I think he’s a fantastic player,” Visnadi told Radio Crc via Football365.

“$200 million for a footballer seems crazy to me. If we go by the ratio with others, I think there is a very dangerous drift in this aspect.

“Osimhen is crazy because he does things that others don’t even think about, and this year he’s showing who he really is."
