Following a layoff due to injury, Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is eager to get back on the field.

Osimhen has been out since suffering an injury in Napoli's match against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on September 7.

The Nigerian international, however, participated in a tailored workout on Monday (today) at the club's SSCN Konami Training Center.

"Following a ball possession session and concluding with a game on a smaller field." On the field, Osimhen and Politano "performed therapies and individualized training," according to a statement on the club's website.

Due to the injury, the 23-year-old has missed Napoli's last three games in all competitions.

In five games this season for Luciano Spalletti's team, the striker has two goals.
