The Premier League has officially announced this evening that Newcastle United has been taken over by the Saudi billionaire after several months of delays.



The Premier League statement reads: "The Premier League, Newcastle United Football Club and St James Holdings Limited have today settled the dispute over the takeover of the club by the consortium of PIF, PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media.

"Following the completion of the Premier League's Owners' and Directors' Test, the club has been sold to the consortium with immediate effect."

With this new owner, Newcastle have gotten the richest football club owner throughout the world, as the new owner is 10 times richer than the Manchester City owner and like 5 times richer than the PSG owner, the two clubs being owned by Arab billionaire.

Newcastle is presently at the 19th position and they are expected to spend huge money in Janaury when the window opens.
