Igho Ogbu, a former Flying Eagles defender, has joined Slavia Prague, the reigning Czech Republic champions.

From the Norwegian club Lillestrom, Ogbu relocated to Eden Park.

A four-year contract was signed by the 23-year-old.

In 2020, the center-back relocated to Europe from Gombe United of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

After stints with Rosenborg, Levanger, and Sogndal, Ogbu has spent his entire professional career in Norway.

Ogbu is now the third Nigerian at Slavia Prague, with Peter Olayinka and Moses Usor already key members of the squad.
