Former striker Trevor Sinclair believes former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino could be the ideal man for when the time comes for Manchester City to replace Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola, who is close to embarking on his seventh season in charge at the Etihad Stadium, is out-of-contract next summer and has made the decision not to put pen to paper on a new deal this summer.
Instead, he has already admitted that he will make a decision on his future closer to the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
Manchester City has significantly backed Guardiola in the transfer market already this summer, bringing in the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Erling Haaland.
Both have arrived for big-money transfer fees and were players the manager wanted to add to his squad.
