Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has named goalkeeper Andre Onana as Inter Milan’s most dangerous player ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.
Onana is expected to be at the goalpost as Manchester City clash with Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday night in Turkey.
The Cameroon international has been impressive for Inter since joining the club from Ajax last summer.
Ahead of the final, Guardiola was asked who he felt was Inter Milan’s most dangerous player at his pre-match press conference and the former Barcelona coach said: “For the way they play, with the high press…
“Onana is an exceptional goalkeeper to take that position in the build-up. Really, really good.”
Guardiola also singled out Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni, adding: “All the processes they do, especially with Bastoni on the left side, are exceptional.
“The quality to link with the strikers, the ability for an extra pass. We have to try to defend—I don’t know how—these connections.
“With the ball, try to attack. Difficult against five at the back, we try to find a solution to be more effective in finding a solution.”
