Potter reveals his type of players, makes three demands from Chelsea team
Graham Potter, the new Chelsea manager, said on Monday that his team needs brave players who aren't afraid to make mistakes.
Potter added that he wants an aggressive, possession-based team at Stamford Bridge that is tactically adaptable.
Todd Boehly, the chairman, recently named the Englishman as Chelsea's new manager.
Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked last Wednesday.
Speaking at his first press conference, Potter said, “I want a tactically flexible, attacking, possession-based team. Players that are brave, that aren’t afraid to make mistakes. They can get on the ball and show courage and really try to enjoy their football.
“If the players are enjoying their football, there’s a chance that the supporters will enjoy it as well. That’s how you grow and develop as a club.
“Styles of play don’t make you win games. The challenge is having players believe in it and how it works.”
