They’ll solidify Chelsea – Arsenal legend tells Potter to recall two players
Ian Wright, a former player for Arsenal, wants Chelsea manager Graham Potter to start Ben Chilwell and Cesar Azpilicueta for the Blues before this weekend's Premier League match against Arsenal.
Wright thinks that Chilwell and Azpilicueta could make the difference when Chelsea and Arsenal square off at Stamford Bridge on Sunday by strengthening Graham Potter's team.
Wright expressed his views on Chilwell and Azpilicueta during an appearance on the Kelly and Wright Show.
“You have to respect the players they (Chelsea) have,” Wright said.
“What Graham Potter has to do now is stop that bleeding quickly, and you want to show the fans that, especially at home, I’m going to make it solid and get us playing well so we can put pressure on an Arsenal side that starts very well but maybe fades.
“So, you want to keep them at bay and then go for them in the second half."
“He’s got the players to do that, with Chilwell and Azpilicueta making it more solid.”
