Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier has come under fire following his team’s latest defeat in the French Ligue 1.
Galtier watched as PSG lost 1-0 against Lyon over the weekend.
Galtier’s side was eliminated from the Champions League and was also knocked out of the Coupe de France.
PSG currently sits on top of the French Ligue 1 table, but consecutive losses against Rennes and Lyon have seen their lead reduced to six points ahead of second-placed Lens.
Following Sunday’s defeat to Lyon, Riolo ripped into Galtier, claiming that he must take responsibility for the Parisians’ not-too-impressive performance this season.
Riolo said (via RMC Sport): “Galtier got the wrong address but someone gave him the correct one. People blame the players, they blame everyone. The club is a mess. The level of play has never been so bad in the history of the club.
“He’s still responsible for what we see on the field. He managed Lille, Saint-Étienne, he managed clubs. The team is a complete disaster.”
