Paris Saint-Germain has identified Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as a replacement for superstar Lionel Messi.
The Parisians have prepared €75 million to sign England forward if the 35-year-old Lionel Messi decides not to renew his existing contract
The 25-year-old Rashford has been on fire this season under new manager Erik ten Hag, helping the Red Devils in their top-four push in the Premier League.
The Englishman has found the back of the net 18 times and made eight assists in 31 games across all competitions for the club this season.
The England international has yet to open talks with the United hierarchy about a new deal, leaving the doors open to a future transfer.
According to El Nacional, PSG has identified Rashford as the perfect replacement for Messi and is ready to spend €75 million on their top offensive target.
Messi’s current deal runs out at the end of the current season, and despite reports claiming that a verbal agreement was finalized between the two parties earlier in December, the World Cup winner is yet to make a firm commitment.
PSG are said to be keen on meeting with the player’s agent this month, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
