Raheem Sterling has stated that he wants to help Chelsea win the Champions League championship.
Sterling has never won the Champions League, which Chelsea won for the second time in 2020–21.
Manchester City, Sterling's old team, has so far failed to win the competition under Pep Guardiola's leadership.
The 27-year-old has helped City to four Premier League titles, four league cups and the FA Cup as a key player at the club.
“I haven’t played Champions League football with Chelsea yet. They have obviously won it. I haven’t. They have got bragging rights, "the England international told the English press on Thursday.
But again, I am here to try to win it. I don’t know if I am better off here or there [at Man City] – it is not really my fault.
“I will just go out and try to help the team as I do every season.”
