Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior has revealed his part in convincing Jude Bellingham to move to Los Blancos during the summer transfer window.
Bellingham left Borussia Dortmund to join Real Madrid in June on a six-year contract for a fee rising to €103 million.
Vinicius and Bellingham both scored as Real Madrid came from behind to beat Napoli 3-2 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Speaking after the match, Vinicius revealed his part in tempting the England international to move to Madrid.
The Brazilian said (via Fabrizio Romano), “I wanted Jude at Real Madrid! I sent many messages to Bellingham last year.
“I was texting him almost every day and I was telling him, ‘Come to Madrid!'”.
Bellingham and Vinicius both scored for Ancelotti’s side against Napoli in Italy.
