Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal, is one of the three players who most influenced Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal's football career.
Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos are the other two participants.
While Modric is still a member of the team, Ronaldo and Ramos, who were once teammates with Carvajal at Los Blancos, have left Real Madrid.
Speaking on the three players who have had the most impact on his development, Carvajal said (as per GOAL): “Cristiano, Sergio Ramos, and, it is very difficult, Luka Modric. They are people who talk to you, and you have to take notes. You’d come on a trip, and you’d see Cristiano going into the pool of cold water. Sergio is training, and Luka is in the gym.”
Ramos recently joined the Spanish club Sevilla, while Ronaldo currently represents Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
