The Nigeria football family and indeed the sports fraternity has again been thrown into deep mourning following the shock death of one of the country's respected journalists, Timi Ebikagboro.


Ebikagboro, the media officer for the U-23 team was a vocal personality in the sports circles in Nigeria until his death.

Details are still sketchy on the cause of death for Ebikagboro who is based in Delta and works with the Delta State Broadcasting Sevice, DBS

Here was his last set of tweets..

As expected, tributes have been flowing in torrents for the Late Ebikagboro who was indeed a mentor for many journalists, especially in the South-South region.
