La Rojas, the Spanish national team is not left out of the growing list of National team who have released their 23-man list world cup squad.



Spain head coach Julen Lopetegui released his squad for the 2018 world cup in Russia. Barcelona players has dominated much of the squad in recent times, the pendulum swung in a different direction this time, as the squad consist majority of Real Madrid players.

It was of no surprise that notable names were left out. Alvaro morata of Chelsea football club was left out of the Spanish squad, Sergi Roberto of Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas , Pedro and Marcos Alonso.

Sergio Ramos will be the captain of the Spanish team, included in the team is Barcelona legend who just left the club, Andres Iniesta.

Full squad

Goalkeepers: David De Gea (Manchester United), Pepe Reina (Napoli), Kepa (Athletic Bilbao)

Defenders: Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Nacho (all Real Madrid), Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique (both Barcelona), Nacho Monreal (Arsenal), Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea), Odriozola (Real Sociedad)

Midfield: Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta (both Barcelona) Saúl, Koke (both Atletico), Thiago (Bayern) David Silva (Manchester City), Isco, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vázquez (all Real Madrid)

Forward: Iago Aspas (Celta), Rodrigo (Valencia), Diego Costa (Atletico)
