It seems like Victor Osimhen might be heading to Paris Saint-Germain instead of Chelsea or Arsenal when he leaves Napoli this summer, according to transfer insider Ben Jacobs.
Osimhen, the Nigerian striker, has been linked with several clubs, including the French champions PSG. There's a chance he could fill the gap left by Kylian Mbappé, who is rumored to be leaving in the summer.
Paris Saint-Germain is keen on strengthening their attacking lineup with a new striker.
In an interview with CaughtOffside’s The Debrief, Jacobs mentioned, “Arsenal seems interested in Joshua Zirkzee and Viktor Gyokeres, so it's less likely they'll aggressively pursue Victor Osimhen. PSG appears to be the more probable destination at this point. However, if Osimhen decides he wants to play in the Premier League and Arsenal enters the race, they could compete with PSG. Arsenal might even have the financial edge over Chelsea.”
Chelsea might be hesitant to sign Osimhen to avoid breaking the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules.
In simpler terms, it looks like Osimhen might end up at PSG, but if he wants to play in the Premier League, Arsenal could be in the mix too. Chelsea might sit this one out due to financial reasons.
