Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr.
, and Marco Verratti have all been dropped from Paris Saint-Germain’s squad for their Ligue 1 opener against Lorient today.
This is because the future of the three players at the French club remains uncertain.
Mbappe was banned from first-team training for refusing to sign a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in June 2024.
Verratti is on the verge of leaving the Parc des Princes for the Middle East, while Neymar was informed by the new PSG manager, Luis Enrique, that he is not part of his plans.
When asked about the outcasts during his Friday press conference, Enrique said, “My actions will speak for my decisions.”
