Roma manager Jose Mourinho has claimed he turned down two offers from Saudi Arabia to remain in Italy.
According to Mourinho, Al Hilal and Al Ahli were keen on his services this summer.
“I’ve received two proposals: Al Hilal and Al Ahli wanted me.
“I decided to turn both down, as I want to stay at Roma”, he told Corriere dello Sport.
Mourinho also confirmed that the release clause in Paulo Dybala’s contract has expired.
“Paulo Dybala’s release clause has expired on August 1... so I can finally sleep well and be more relaxed,” he added.
