The signing of Nigerian midfielder Ifeanyi Matthew by Swiss Super League team FC Zurich has been announced.



Matthew joined FC Zurich from Lillestrm SK of the Norwegian first division.

With the team, the former Flying Eagles star signed a two-year contract.

The 26-year-old made 196 appearances for Lillestrm SK, contributing 20 goals and 18 assists.

He and the team won the Norwegian Cup in 2017.

Matthew will don the number 12 jersey for FC Zurich.
