Thibaut Courtois of Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain, and Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool were among those named by UEFA on Thursday to the Champions League team for this week.
Following the conclusion of the group stage match-day six contests on Thursday, UEFA announced the Champions League team in a post on its website.
Mbappe scored in his team's 2-1 Champions League victory over Juventus, and Courtois and Van Dijk both performed admirably for their teams in victories over Celtic and Napoli, respectively.
