Michael Nsien has been named the U.

In November, Nsien began working for the US Soccer Federation as a U-16 coach.

During the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the 42-year-old also assisted B.J. Callaghan, the interim head coach of the US national team.

The American team will be led by the young tactician to the Pan American Games in Chile in October.

‘”Working for U.S. Soccer and helping to grow the game in this country has been an incredible opportunity,” Nsien said.

“I’m excited to move up to the U-19 MYNT to continue helping young players reach their full potential. We have a deep, talented pool of players in this country, and I’m excited to help them put on a strong performance at the upcoming Pan-American Games.”

The former defender represented Nigeria at the U-23 level.
