Ezekiel Tamara has said the togetherness in the Bendel Insurance team lured him to join the Nigeria Professional Football League side.

Tamara signed a two-year deal with the Benin Arsenals ahead of the upcoming NPFL season last month.

The former Shooting Stars midfielder stressed that the hunger of the club to achieve success also spurred him on.

“Bendel Insurance is an ambitious club,” he told the club’s media.
“There is a lot of positivity among the players and the coaches, which really makes me attracted to the club.

“I have been eyeing the club for some time with the results achieved during the 2022–23 NPFL season.”

Bendel Insurance will take on ASO Chlef of Algeria in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round on Saturday.
