The Brazil legend, Ronaldo, has urged Tottenham Hotspur attacker Richarlison to win the 2022 FIFA World Cup for Brazil.

Ronaldo said that Richarlison, who scored a goal in Brazil’s 4-1 win over South Korea in the World Cup round of 16 encounter a few days ago, is a pride to the country.

Richarlison has been in top form at the FIFA World Cup so far.

The former Everton star has scored three goals in the tournament so far.

He is joint-second in the Golden Boot race, two behind France forward Kylian Mbappe.

Speaking to Ronaldo TV, Ronaldo said of Richarlison, “Wow! You are great. That is three matches played, and now there are three more to go (to win the 2022 World Cup).
“What I did was inspire you." It is now your turn to inspire, and you are inspiring millions of Brazilians and millions of kids with your art, your goals, your joy to play, your spontaneity, and your feelings. You are a pride to Brazil.”
The former Real Madrid and Inter Milan star added, “It was a beautiful goal (against South Korea)—you are playing center forward and you are the out-and-out forward that we have not seen for a while." Score a lot more goals. "Go for it and bring the sixth World Cup home.”
