A lecturer at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State, allegedly called school securities on students over blockage of his car by the students’ flashy cars.
The car of the lecturer, whose name is yet to be identified, was said to have been among the lecturers’ whose cars were blocked by the students’ cars at the car park following resumption of academic activities.
In a 30 seconds viral video obtained by Featured24, the videographer can be heard saying the parking spaces in the school is filled up with cars which belonged to the students of the school.
Itis reported that many lecturers at the University have been complaining about the parking spaces being filled with cars of their students, leaving them with little or no space to park their vehicles within the school premises.
Further investigations revealed that most of the student hustlers acquired more cars during the coronavirus-imposed lockdown and the recently suspended nine-month old strike of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
