Seyi Makinde Sacks LAUTECH VC - See Reason
The Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has now sacked the Vice Chancellor of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso Prof Micheal Ologunde.
The development was made official in a press release by the Oyo State government.
The reason for the governor doing this is related to two things.

Secondly, in late February, when some staff of the school were protesting and agitating for their salary arrears, the VC has said the school does not have 8 billion and that the governor has not funded the school. A development the governor reacted to on his Twitter page saying the VC would have been fired for instigating the staff union against him having it is a military era.
